Get to Know Us

My love for Schnauzers started in the late 1970's when I met my Great Aunt's miniature schnauzer. It was love at first site. We had a few mixed schnauzers over the years, but decided that we really wanted a pure-bred. Sammy came into our home in 2016. Jetter joined our crazy pack in 2017. And the rest was history.

West of the Rhine strives to produce quality puppies with dogs that have been DNA health tested. Those results can be given to you at your request. Our dogs are all AKC registrations. Out puppies come to you chipped, wormed, first vaccines given, The Florida State Health Certificate and a one year health guarantee.
Depending on the dams & sires, the price of a puppy can range from $1400-$1800. All puppies are pet only. No breeding may be done from our dogs unless it has been agreed prior to delivery. All of our dogs do have great pedigrees, however, no show dogs have been produced at this time. We can deliver, but there is a fee. A 100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your pup. We are proud to be using Zelle or PayPal for your deposit.

We are not expecting any puppies until possibly this summer.

König is a 2½-year-old good boy still searching for his furever home. He’s 23 lbs, AKC registered, and intact. He adores cuddles, but his absolute favorite thing in the whole world is balls! He wants you to know he can fit three squeaky balls in his mouth at once—and he’ll want you to keep throwing them. (Fair warning: he won’t retrieve them, but it’s a game that’ll keep you both laughing.)

König would thrive as an only dog, but he’d also love having one or two female buddies. $900

Clover is still searching for her forever home! She’s a 4-year-old AKC-registered girl who had one litter (delivered by C-section, so she’s since been spayed). Clover is incredibly affectionate—her favorite place is your lap, gazing up at you with pure adoration. She’s also a goofy playmate: she loves to chase balls (though she won’t catch or retrieve them). Instead, she’ll race over, stand guard above the ball, and bark until you come pick it up and toss it again—her absolute favorite game. Housebroken and full of love, Clover wants you to know she’s ready to be your very best girl.

Clover would be great as an only dog, but she’d welcome a furry sibling too.
